period of calm: a brief interval of calm or decreased activity
Well, almost a lull. I got through my venipuncture final, my second statistics and instrumentation test and my second radiologic physics test, and I comped on two scans that are mandatory. That said, all I have going now are two papers, prep for two more tests and two more comps to do. Is that a lull? All I know is that every waking moment is not being spent studying so it feels better.
The cats are getting along. They have this thing going where Carlton gets to be king until he exerts a hair too much pressure on Micah and Micah gets pissed and pulls out the claws. Micah is a very quiet cat, whereas Carlton is very vocal. When I hear Carlton making a certain noise, I can tell that Micah is after him. Carlton goes belly up when the claws come out. (Remember, Carlton is front declawed.) I say, you go Micah. Let him know there is a line.
On the other hand, I spotted Carlton grooming Micah's head yesterday. Go figure.
I am happy that they are both in my life. Makes the apartment feel like home.

I can't imagine what it would be like to come home to no critters. They make our life whole. I'm glad you enjoyed reading Vet on the Edge.
